Non-NHS work covers requests such as insurance forms, letters of support and certain medicals. These are not covered by the NHS contract and are chargeable.
- Hand in your request to Reception and make a cash payment. Alternatively, our Administrator will contact you and give BACS details for payment – we ask that you use your name as a reference for the payment so that confirmation of payment can easily be made.
- The request will be logged and forwarded to a GP for completion.
- The administrator will let you know if an appointment is required and arrange this with you.
- The administrator will let you know when your report / letter is ready to collect.
- We try to process non-NHS requests as quickly as possible, but it can take up to 6 weeks at busy times to complete the request. We process requests in order of receipt but let us know if it is clinically urgent (e.g needed for repatriation or for a private appointment) and we will aim to prioritise.
- Please note that we only work on requests once payment has been received, so please be prompt with payment to avoid delays.
- In the rare event that we cannot complete the requested work, we will contact you. A refund may be given, depending on the circumstances.
