Nurses

Practice nurses are qualified and registered nurses. The practice nurses run clinics for long-term health conditions such as asthma, COPD or diabetes, as well as childhood immunisations and cervical screening.

Healthcare Assistants

Our Health Care Assistant runs clinics for blood pressure monitoring, NHS Health Checks, injections and seasonal vaccination as well as supporting the practice nurse in health promotion and long-term disease management. Phlebotomy (blood tests) service is provided for elderly patients or those with mobility problems who are unable to visit the hospital.

Practice Management

The practice manager is involved in managing all of the business aspects of the practice such as making sure that the right systems are in place to provide a high quality of patient care, human resources, finance, patient safety, premises and equipment and information technology. The practice manager supports the GPs and other medical professionals with delivering patient services and also helps to develop extended services to enhance patient care.

Administration

Our Reception and Administration team provide a vital link for patients with the practice and will be your initial point of contact when you get in touch with the practice. They deal with a range of different administrative duties and will be able to assist you with booking appointments and general enquiries. They also deal with medical records, referrals and non-NHS work.
