We are introducing full triage via eConsult. All requests for medical advice/appointments will need to be submitted via an eConsult form via our website or the NHS App.

 

NOTICE TO CHANGE OF SYSTEM

 

Monday 3rd November 2025: Total Online Triage

 

From 3rd November 2025 East Finchley Medical Practice will be introducing full triage via eConsult, an online consultation form.

 

All requests for the following will need to be submitted via an eConsult form:

 

 

·    GP Appointments (urgent OR routine)

·    Sick or fit notes

·    Medical advice

·    Doctors’ letters

·    Medication advice

·    Follow up on previous issues

·    Admin queries

 

 

All clinical requests will be triaged by a Senior GP. Please keep your phone available after submitting an e-consult as we may need to call you. Submit requests online Monday-Friday 8:00am to 6.30pm via our website: www.eastfinchleymedicalpractice.nhs.uk or NHS App.

 

You will no longer be able to book an appointment with the GP on the phone. You can still book nurse, HCA and pharmacist appointments online or by phone.

 

If you do not have internet access our reception team can help over the phone.

 

This is to help us meet the needs of new GP contract requirements. We hope that this will help us provide care that is faster, fairer, and more efficient for all patients.
